Mundon has a regular bus service passing through the village;

 

First Bus Route 31, 31B, 31C, 31D, 31X.  Hourly service to and from Maldon.  Mundon is en-route for buses to Dengie and Chelmsford via Maldon. Time tables are in the village centre bus shelter and potentially at all 4 official stops, which are located at;. Stud Farm (Stud Hill), Victory Hall (village centre), Old Coal Yard (South of village centre) and just beyond Pillar Box corner (Burnham Road).

Mundon also has a bespoke 'demand responsive' service;

 

Dengie DaRT (Demand Responsive Transport) Number 99  It is part bus, part taxi.  It is a dial-and-ride service running between the Dengie Peninsular, Maldon, St Peter’s Hospital, Heybridge, Hatfield Peverel train station and Broomfield Hospital.  Your place must be booked a minimum of 2 hours before departure (outbound and return). It runs 6am – 10pm Monday to Saturday.

 

 

It has 2 parts – a fixed part between Broomfield and St Peter’s and a pre-book section to run forward between any address in certain Dengie Parishes (including Mundon), Maldon and Heybridge.

The two routes which could be useful for Mundon residents are the 5 & 99. There are no maps on the Arrows website for these routes, unlike the services they operate in north west Essex.
